Black Bear Golf Club is located just off County Road 44-A to the east of Eustis in northern Lake County, Black Bear features a beautiful and challenging 18-hole 7,000 plus yard layout designed by world famous golf course architect P.B Dye (Paul Burke Dye). This championship course offers six sets of tees allowing the course to play between 5,000 and 7,000 yards providing a fun yet challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course is laid out among the rolling hills and lakes that are found in this area of north Lake County. As expected, it features typical Dye trademark touches of undulating greens, dramatically changing fairway elevations, and sandy waste bunkers.
In the clubhouse you’ll find the "Bears Den Grill" which offers a full menu for breakfast and lunch and a pro shop fully stocked with apparel, accessories, and supplies. The practice facilities include a double-ended driving range, a putting green, and a chipping and bunker practice area.
Elementary age children attend Seminole Springs Elementary, middle school age childred go to Eustis Middle and teenagers attend Eustis High School 9th Grdae Curtright Campus*.
