Lake Nona is a 7,000-acre paradise of lakes, old cypress and shade trees in the heart of Orlando and is home to many professional golfers as well as movie stars and other professional athletes. The community is located on the southeast side of the Orlando Metro market and is in close proximity to the Orlando International Airport.
A chain of lakes surrounded by a native hammock, and all the wildlife that comes with it, is the backdrop for spectacular country-club living. The centerpiece is the Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole golf course. A Georgian-style clubhouse serves club members before and after play, with such facilities as a grill restaurant, lockers, pro shop, men's smoke room, formal dining and executive conference rooms.
The residences range in size from intimate villas to grand estate homes, and in every category the homes are luxuriously appointed and situated to take advantage of fairway, preserve and lake views. From the architecture to the natural environs, this enclave harks back to the Florida of yore-and herein lies its charm.
